今朝一早就收到封咁既e-mail...

Dear X, Y, and Z,
I'm sorry for eavesdropping, but I happened to overhear a conversation before class this morning in which it sounded like the three of you divide up the homework problems and share your solutions. This is not the acceptable way of working together. Please reread the guidelines on the course web page under the heading "Working together".
Just by coincidence, Margarita sent me an email last night saying that the three of you had very similar write-ups and that she took off some points as a result. Please don't do that again.
Ask me for clarification if what I wrote on the web page is unclear.

俾人斷正,仲好意思同instructor拗,下晝就收到封咁既reply:

There seems to be some misunderstanding about the rules for working together on the homework. Please reread what I wrote about this on the course web page:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
To summarize the main points: It's fine if you bounce ideas off of one another in trying to solve a problem (preferably after you've each tried hard to solve it on your own). But once you understand it, you write it up in your own words. In particular, you should never have access to someone else's homework paper, nor should they have access to yours.
